Dr. Brader trained at top academic institutions and has over a decade of ophthalmology experience. She has also been recognized multiple years in a row as a Top Doctor by Philadelphia Magazine and Castle Connolly.
Dr. Brader received her bachelor’s degree (cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, also in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There, she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honors society.
She was awarded a Doris Duke clinical research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Ophthalmology, where she focused her research on Macular Degeneration. Dr. Brader completed an internship in preliminary internal medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Pennsylvania Scheie Eye Institute in Philadelphia.
She continued her training as a retina fellow at Harvard Medical School Massachusetts Eye and Ear in Boston, Massachusetts, where she received the Heed Ophthalmic Foundation Fellowship Award.
Dr. Brader has received numerous other awards and honors, including Philadelphia Magazine/Castle Connolly Top Doctor, designation as Fellow of the American Society of Retina Specialists, and the practice has received the ASRS Retina Practice Commitment to Quality Award. She’s a member of numerous professional organizations and maintains her credentials with continuing education.
Main Line Retina treats macular degeneration, choroidal nevi, diabetic retinopathy, floaters, light flashes, retinal tears, and many other eye conditions. The practice provides comprehensive eye exams, eye injections, medication prescriptions, laser treatments, and other eye procedures to restore or prevent vision loss.
